Get started freeThe Free plan gives you an API key with 10,000 lookups a month. Every answer says whether the IP is a VPN, proxy, Tor exit, privacy relay or hosting address, how confident we are, and who owns the network. It’s enough to build and test an integration, or to protect a small site’s sign-up and login pages. The card you add at sign-up is never charged.

Your 10,000 lookups reset at 00:00 UTC on the 1st of every month. Only successful lookups count; errors don’t. The dashboard shows your daily usage and emails you as you get close. At 10,000 the API returns 429 Too Many Requests with a Retry-After header until the reset. There’s no buffer on Free, so cache answers for about an hour and check only the pages that matter.
